It is Fair Wear’s belief that member companies who are making a serious effort to implement the Code of Labour Practices—the vast majority of Fair Wear member companies—are ‘doing good’ and deserve to be recognized as such. They are also doing more than the average clothing company, and have allowed their internal processes to be examined and publicly reported on by an independent NGO. The majority of member companies will receive a ‘Good’ rating.

About FC St. Pauli

FC St. Pauli is a multi-sports club from the heart of the St. Pauli quarter of Hamburg whose senior men's team currently play in the second tier of German football. For the club, its fans, and its members, success on the pitch and social responsibility are not mutually exclusive. FC St. Pauli is more than a sports club, it is a community of shared values. This is seen in the club policy of taking its role as a social actor very seriously, both locally and globally, alongside achieving its sporting objectives. FC St. Pauli supports various projects against racism, homophobia and anti-Semitism, for example, and champions respectful interaction. The club also establishes ecological and social sustainability standards for the production and sale of its own merchandise. Here, too, the club strives to satisfy the aspirations of its members, fans, and partners and, to the best of its ability, make the world a slightly better place. Go to website
