This is a new complaint that FWF has just filed. At this point in the procedure, the complaint is pending investigation, and FWF has not yet proven it to be grounded. Updates to the investigation will follow. The brand is requested to share the complaint with factory management and to get their perspective. Ideally, this includes obtaining documental evidence in addition to a statement from management.
Concerning labour standards:
A group of 13 workers wish to complain about their outstanding salary not being paid. The factory will not settle the money owed or return their social insurance books after the termination of their contracts.
The first call was received on 15 June 2018. The complaints handler advised the complainants to first try using the internal grievance procedure.
30 June: The factory did not resolve the situation. The complainant sent a list of additional complainants whose contracts were terminated from August 2017 to May 2018. All of these individuals are still lacking either their the last month's salary or have not received their social insurance books.
