Findings and conclusions

On 25 August 2018, FWF's complaints handler in China received a complaint from a former factory (temporary auxiliary) worker, who claimed that he/she received the wages due from 1 July to 15 August. FWF declared this complaint admissible and informed Jack Wolfskin, the FWF member brand sourcing at the factory. Jack Wolfskin contacted the factory immediately, who stated that this had been a "payday" misunderstanding between the complainant and the accounting department. The wages due were scheduled to be paid on the August payday on 31 August. Delayed payment of wages is prohibited by the factory. The FWF complaints handler reached out to the complainant, who confirmed having received his/her due wages on 31 August. The complaint has been closed.
