Transparency is one of the core elements of the Fair Wear formula. Throughout 2010-2011, we’ve increasingly used our website and social media networks as the main channels of communication.
For example, in the resource section of our website, we report on the progress of companies and on complaints filed by workers and others about violations in workplaces. On our homepage, verification coordinators regularly report on their travels, the audit process and on the projects we do alone or with other organisations.
The report we are launching today provides a retrospective overview of these and other elements of FWF’s work during 2010. To stay up-to-date with FWF’s activities in the future, we invite you to follow us on Twitter or Facebook.
FWF strives to make the most efficient use of its resources, so starting this year we will be releasing our annual reports in digital format only.
