Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) today launched its ‘Business to Business (B2B) Brandfinder’ – a free online tool to help business customers find FWF member brands.
The B2B Brandfinder is designed for public and corporate procurement officers, as well as for retailers and wholesalers. FWF affiliate brands produce a wide range of clothing used by businesses and governments – everything from protective clothing to work uniforms to promotional clothing. FWF ambassadors sell products made by FWF affiliates. Both are included in the brandfinder. Brandfinder users can search by product categories and generate a list of FWF members who can supply the requested product type.
Today’s launch focuses on brands who supply clothing to government and business end users. Later this year, a section of the brandfinder will be rolled out for use by retail stores looking to stock FWF member products.
‘An increasing number of governments and corporations are interested in sustainable procurement. An important element of sustainability is respect for human rights in supply chains.’ said Erica van Doorn, Director of Fair Wear Foundation. ‘FWF receives many requests for help from procurement officers, as well as from retailers and wholesalers looking to stock responsible brands. The B2B Brandfinder is designed to help answer those requests.”
