Every season Fair Wear Foundation portrays one of its member companies to provide a glimpse of what it means to be an FWF affiliate. In this first edition the Swiss fashion brand Blackout opens up about auditing, trainings and the importance of long term relationships.
Gerard Metzler speaks openly about what happened when child labour was found in three Blackout production locations in Bangladesh. “A very complex situation that takes time to solve”, he says. “But in the past twenty years so many things have improved. That makes our FWF membership worthwhile.”
