In Memory of Dear Fatma Arlı,
We would like to remember Fatma Arlı, who recently passed away. Fatma had been a valued member of Fair Wear's local service provider assessment team in Türkiye since 2016, and we will carry her memory with warmth and gratitude.
For nearly a decade, she was part of the work that keeps our assessments grounded and credible on the ground in Türkiye — reliable, thorough, and quietly excellent at what she did. She was the kind of colleague every team hopes to have.
We remember her not only for her professionalism, but for how she made the people around her better at their jobs too. Those close to her also remember her as a devoted cat lover, always with a soft spot for her feline companions.
Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones at this difficult time. We will remember Fatma's years of committed work in service of garment workers' lives in Türkiye with deep appreciation.
